Cocoa Cake
Combine in mixing bowl:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
Heat in pan until melted:
1 cup water
1 cube butter
1/2 cup cocoa
Add above to flour and sugar
Add:
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bake at 350 degrees in 3 lightly oiled and floured 8” round cake pans for 20 minutes
Frosting: Melt 1 cube butter, add 1 box powdered sugar, 1/3 cocoa and 5 to 6 teaspoons cream.
